Santorini

Santorini is a small island at the southernmost end of the
Cyclades complex is located. Her name is officially Thera,
but they usually or Santorini Santorini is called.
The total area is 96 km2
and the length of the coast 69 km. The population is around 10.00 inhabitants.
The island lies between Ios and Anafi, 130 nautical miles from Piraeus

and only 70 nautical miles from Crete.

Coastal falls steeply at west side, the east coast contrast
flat with long sand ideal for bathing.

586 stages (walk or on donkey) or with a cableway.


Santorini is unlike any other Cyclades islands by
its strange shape and geological structure, the
devastating outbreaks of a now extinct volcano
are due. Overwhelming is the entrance to the port
The view of the steep crater wall, the ridge line of
white house is lined.
